The account opening procedure is simple, with a very short registration page. However, you are sent an account number by email, rather than being allowed to choose your own username. I personally find this very annoying; as it is much easier to remember a username you create yourself than a group of random numbers. The layout of the site is fairly standard, with all the sports on offer clearly displayed on the home page. However, for users who know exactly what market they are looking for there is no quick access to specific markets through drop down menu’s etc. This is something I feel needs to be addressed to reduce the number of clicks required to place a bet.
The site has a very American feel to it, and is different to the many European based sports books that tend to be very similar in navigation.

Odds:

The saving grace for Canbet is that they offer extremely good odds; they have the joint lowest margins in the industry, betting to 107% on football and many other sports. This means if you are looking for best price, you will need an account with Canbet, as they are always above industry standard for odds, and in fact are very rarely beaten on price. Canbet are also usually one of the first in the industry to price up their events, so for those punters who like to take advantage of an early price before a possible price change, Canbet are very good.
